One diary of a hundred entries, read one entry at a time. Each thread is a theme: a set of features that fire together in a bounded stretch of the diary. A thread is lit while a complex of those features exists at that time step, thicker for more features. Coherence runs from one entry to the next when the complex changes by no more than the continuity dial. A thread goes dark in silence. A dashed line is a return, after an absence of at least the minimum, keeping at least the return fraction of the theme, marked with the entries of silence. A dotted line is an influence: a silent theme subsumed by something greater, at least the influence fraction of it. Threads that join or split are drawn as curves. The base (the undifferentiated mass) and the ground (the frame's always-on features) are not drawn. Turn the dials and the robe is rewoven; press play to watch the diary as it was lived.
