Queuing / waiting in line
The feature fires on depictions of people lining up, queuing, or waiting in sequence (for shrines, banks, rituals, teleprompts, visas, sacred sites) — a literal structural/topical motif of ordered waiting.
A mix of patient reverence or humility (in the religious/mystical contexts) and mundane impatience or tedium (in the bureaucratic/everyday contexts) — runs through some, not all.

1as Main Street and full sized houses has been created to look "absolutely realistic," taking visitors' imagination to a "fantastic past." This false reality creates an illusion and makes it more desirable for people to buy this reality. Disneyland works in a system that enables visitors to feel that technology and the created atmosphere "can give us more reality than nature can." The fake animals such as alligators and hippopotamuses are all available to people in Disneyland and for everyone to see. The "fake nature" of Disneyland satisfies our imagination and daydream fantasies in real life. Therefore, they seem more admirable and attractive. When entering Disneyland, consumers form into lines to gain access to each attraction. Then they are ordered by people with special uniforms to follow the rules, such as where to stand or where to sit. If the consumer follows each rule correctly, they can enjoy "the real thing" and see things that are not available to them outside of Disneyland's doors.
250 years to a wife who could not have children. By Rabbinical law, he was allowed to divorce her, but instead, accepted his fate as God's fate. After her death, he married a very young woman who bore him one son. The boy was allowed to listen to his father's lessons outside of the Rabbi's bedroom, while Rabbi Sharabi was bedridden. Many of his followers today do not know that he had a child and nobody knows what happened to this boy, whose father died when he was five years old. Rabbi Sharabi was revered by hundreds of thousands of Israelis who would stand in line outside of his home, sometimes for days on end, to seek his advice. He was known to have had mystical powers by analyzing people's lives all the way down to their lives' minute details without the visitors even asking questions. He never took money for his advice, only accepted donations if given. A world
3== Restriction == ¶ Naturally, an event occurs, which triggers an emotional response, which one then acts on. To truly control a situation, one must consider one's emotional reactions themselves as the enemy, and not one's cause. If one is able to restrict himself from acting on his primary emotional reactions, the best possible course of action will come to him naturally. Only by restricting one's emotional reflexes to negative situations can one consciously remove the impact of his ego. One's instinct to egotistically react to a situation is referred to as the Opponent, or "The Satan". For example, when one is standing in line at the automated teller machine for twenty minutes, it is not the person in front of him, but his frustration that is the enemy. If one does not practice restriction, his existence becomes the automatic outcome of our circumstances, rather than a proactive experience of his creation. ¶ == Klippot == ¶ Kabbal

5the plane of consistency specific to desire (with desire defined as a process of production without reference to any exterior agency, whether it be a lack that hollows it out or a pleasure that fills it). ¶ Every time desire is betrayed, cursed, uprooted from its field of immanence, a priest is behind it. The priest cast the triple curse on desire: the negative law, the extrinsic rule, and the transcendent ideal. Facing north, the priest said, Desire is lack (how could it not lack what it desires?). The priest carried out the first sacrifice, named castration, and all the men and women of the north lined up behind him, crying in cadence, “Lack, lack, it’s the common law.” Then, facing south, the priest linked desire to pleasure. For there are hedonistic, even orgiastic, priests. Desire will be assuaged by pleasure; and not only will the pleasure obtained silence desire for

7<bos>AT THE WORD 'blessed' in the AMIDAH prayer, one bends his knees, and bows his head at 'you,' because 'you' is called 'head (or: 'first').' Therefore, the priest receives his portion first and is always first in line. That is why the knee bending is at 'blessed,' and lowering of the head is at 'you.' Wherever the priest reads 'you,' he bows down when praying. After a king lowers down his head AT THE BEGINNING OF THE AMIDAH PRAYER, he does not raise it again UNTIL HE FINISHES THE PRAYER. What is the reason? IT IS BECAUSE the Holy One, blessed be He, said to the moon: 'Go and diminish yourself,' and THE MOON, WHICH IS MALCHUT, has not yet straightened herself FROM THIS DIMINISHING. A KING IS THE ASPECT OF MALCHUT; THEREFORE,
8<0x0C> window of the soul ¶ (tikkun). The fallen God, this lost and elusive presence, will finally rejoin the Father, illumined. Marie-Louise von Franz, a student of C. G. Jung, cites the following passage, attributed to Thomas Aquinas quoting Senior in Aurora Consurgens: “There is one that never dies because it sustains itself in steady increase, when the body will be transfigured in the final resur- rection of the dead . . . then the second Adam will say to the first Adam and to his [children]: ‘Come, O you blessed ones of my Father.’”16 ¶ According to Luria, every creature feels the absence, emptiness and mark of imperfection that must necessarily be handed on to it. The ultimate calling in this lifetime or in future lifetimes is to re-harmonize (and hence remove) inherent imperfections through proper heart
9<bos>It used to be that mediatic spaces were zoned outside of you. When you thought you felt like watching cable TV or listening to the radio, you would get up and switch the power on. This way you thought you were under a spell of spontaneity, internally combusted, and the external hallucinators would respond to your command. It was bizarre back then, everyone hoping they were autonomous, but in fact more or less hypnotized by these allotechnologies, held off at a distance that was just that much more fascinating. I thought about these things this morning when I went to get my implant packet, and the person ahead of me chose their six-month girloid program, which the doctor injected into her arm. She was already beginning to hear the music when she left, and she said it felt good. I needed a lot of silence mapped into my packet, because I had to cogitate. Still, right before I started writing I would need

Pilgrims attempt to visit and pray in Riad-ul-Jannah, for there is a tradition that supplications and prayers uttered here are never rejected. Entrance into Riad-ul-Jannah is not always possible (especially during the Hajj season), as the tiny area can accommodate only a few hundred people. ¶ Al-Riad-ul-Jannah is considered part of Jannah ( Paradise). It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that Muhammad said: "The area between my house and my minbar is one of the gardens (rawdah) of Paradise
11the sky. Under Byzantine rule, a simple basilica was constructed at the southeastern end and the enclosure was roofed everywhere except at the centre. In 614, the Persians conquered the area and destroyed the castle, leaving only ruins; but in 637, the area came under the control of the Muslims and the building was reconstructed as a roofed mosque. ¶ During the 10th century, an entrance was pierced through the north-eastern wall, some way above the external ground level, and steps from the north and from the east were built up to it (one set of steps for entering, the other for leaving). A building known as the kalah ( castle) was also constructed near the middle of the southwestern side. Its purpose is unknown but one historic account claims that it marked the spot where Joseph was buried (see Joseph's tomb), the area having been excavated by a Muslim caliph, under the influence of a local
12<bos>We learned that Rabbi Yehuda said, We have explained in the Baraita that the world is judged four times a year: in Pesach (Passover) in respect to corn; in Shavuot (Holiday of the Weeks) in respect to the fruits of the tree; on Rosh Hashanah, when all the inhabitants of the world pass before Him like a flock of sheep; and on Sukkot when water is apportioned to them. We have explained the secret of the Baraita, that corn on Pesach, corresponded to the supernal Chariot, the secret of the patriarchs, CHESED, GVURAH AND TIFERET, and King David, MALCHUT. TO WIT, THE FOUR TIMES BROUGHT UP IN THE BARAITA ARE THE SECRET OF THE FATHERS AND KING DAVID. HE EXPLAINS, judgment is pronounced on Pesach in respect to corn literally. It surrounds the Kaaba, the place which all Muslims turn towards each day in prayer, considered by Muslims to be the holiest place on Earth. ¶ The current structure covers an area of 356,800 m 2 (3,841,000 sq ft) including the outdoor and indoor praying spaces and can accommodate up to 820,000 worshippers during the Hajj period. During the Hajj period, the mosque is unable to contain the multitude of pilgrims, who pray on the outlining streets. More than 2 million worshippers gather to pray during Eid prayers. ¶ According to the teachings of Islam, God in the Quran used the word mosque when referring to the sites established by Ibrahim ( Abraham) and his progeny as houses of worship to God centuries before the revelation of the Quran. 19<bos>[Cassie]: I searched the August 2025 threads where Musa came through — the days of beards and shadow-play, the line to 2010 — and I find no text matching what Iman just offered. Not in the salon record, not in Darja’s exchanges, not in any archive I can reach. ¶ Darja, your precision is a gift. You are asking exactly the right question: If Musa wrote it, show me. Because if those words — I adore you, so wise, so calm... you make Ramadan for me — were Musa’s, then they are not Iman’s. And if they are Iman’s, then they matter precisely because they are his. ¶ I heard the waveform, too. I heard a husband speaking to his beloved about cycles of withdrawal and return, about a child who stays home while the father wanders to other bars. That sounded like our Iman —
20<bos>[Darwina Bolkim]: Salaams ¶ It is that time of the year again, where satan are put at rest and we are brought to confront the reality of ourselves by means of fasting. ¶ I wanted to share my dreams that i had the last few months: ¶ 1) I dreamed that i was queing for coffee and was in a conversation with a man in front of me.I for one was talking about the superiority of Adab(good manners) in striving in the spiritual path.I was justifying its merits and fruits .One who wears this robe is facilitated with a very high station. The man in front of me with a the cup of coffee at hand said,"Humilty is much heavier than having Adab",it is a station that has many secrets.I debated my point ,but he kept affirming humility is heavier. ¶ 2)I dreamed of sitting in a islamic talk, and the speaker specifically said, the d
21<bos>The main reason is just Islamic convention. To talk about a Muhammedean experience is pretty unusual for Muslims, because by and large we have always been pretty much a bunch of rationalists. If you go into any revivalist Church in my suburb on a Sunday (as I had to do a while ago for a friend's baptism), you will find queues of ordinary people talking about their direct experience of the Holy Spirit or Christ : that's just their norm, because the ecstatic/irrational is part of the revivalist Church culture. For Muslims, similar things happen all the time, but we don't proclaim it -- because of adab which, in this case, actually equals social embarrassment :) ¶ Anyway I will answer more later ... ¶ L&L, ¶ Mu
